Women – the guardians of Recipes for Community Harmony Print E-mail
Written by Wendy Alexander

Community HarmonyNot all women experience feelings of harmony when the word recipe jumps out at them. For most the word is linked to cooking and often elicits a feeling of obligation associated with domestic duties. This project involves finding a host family who invite a couple of neighbours over to participate in a day packed with information sharing, problem solving, social contact and art therapy. Decreasing the feeling of isolation is the overall goal.
